"Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza, H5N1: An Evolving Global Challenge" - Workshop to be held Monday, March 26, 2007 at the The Riviera Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas, Nevada.
The American College of Poultry Veterinarians will be sponsoring a workshop on Monday, prior to the 56th Western Poultry Disease Conference. This workshop will provide information on important related issues to HPAI, including the status of HPAI H5N1 outbreaks around the world, the potential poultry industry response to an outbreak of H5N1 avian influenza, the role of media, surveillance, the epidemiology of H5N1 in wild birds and in humans, vaccination, diagnostics, and public health aspects.
